The market opens on Thursday 26 November 2026 at 17:00 with the lighting of the Christmas tree in Piazza Walther, and closes on 6 January 2027. Wooden stalls stand in the square and along Via Stazione, where there is a children's area.
An artisan market runs in Via Isarco and Piazza Duomo, and a weekend market is held in Piazza Mazzini. Food and drink include speck, strudel, fritters, mulled wine and South Tyrolean wines. Advent music is played in the streets and concerts are held in churches.
