The exhibition is presented as the first large monographic show ever given to Pontormo, a leading figure in sixteenth-century Florentine painting. It places his work in the context of Florence and of Italian painting between the High Renaissance and Mannerism.
Opening hours run from 10:00 to 20:00, with last admission at 19:00. On 24 December the gallery closes at 15:00 and on 25 December it opens from 16:00 to 20:00. Tickets are sold through the Scuderie site.
